Mastering the new soundtrack album with Chas Ferry at Hollywood Trax. Chas does a lot of mastering work for Perseverance Records and Varesé Sarabande Records. This one is sounding great and I can not wait till it gets out there isolated on CD for everyone to hear. More details to come soon!

My father (Walter L Ralston Jr) was a WWIl Navy veteran, having served on the U.S.S. Elokomin AO-55 towards the end of WWIl in 1945-1946. During his time at sea his ship was mostly positioned in and around the Persian Gulf, Mediterranean Sea and the Suez Canal. Although there were times they went over to the Atlantic. This video is from my dad’s funeral service at his gravesite in Arbovale, West Virginia back in 2018. The Navy sent a Naval Honor Guard over from Roanoke Virginia and did a 21 gun salute, taps and flag presentation by a Naval officer to me. If one has never seen an honor guard ceremony, I am sharing about 7 minutes of the ceremony for my father so that you can see one. I suggest that in the time while silently watching and listening, perhaps take those 7 minutes today to internally reflect on the lives these heros (and their families) sacrificed. This is what the day is about. Not really beaches, BBQs and “the-start-of-summer fun.” Bless!
